When 15-year-old Gregory Hesse is found dead it appears to be a tragic suicide. But it's a verdict his mother refuses to accept. Six weeks later a 16-year-old girl, a student at the same exclusive high school as Gregory, commits suicide. Detective Peter Decker of the LAPD knows only too well what secret lives teenagers live. He and his wife Rina Lazarus have taken on the responsibility of raising Gabe Whitman after his parents abandoned him. As Decker probes into the lives of these privileged teenagers, he must follow a dark trail of twisted allegiances and unholy alliances.
